I’m not going to lie, I went to this event without knowing who or what it was for. And of course I left in love with a pretty little girl named Tinsley Mortimer. After a few cocktails at Perchance Boutique, I had enough courage to get my book signed and talk to this city-slickin’-socialite-southern-bell-beauty. We gabbed about the Kentucky Derby, her first visit to Chicago, and of course, I asked her to come out in Boystown with me and my friends! She sadly declined (only because she had an un-Godly early flight the next morning), and she promised to spend more time in the city on her next trip.

Tinsley and I shootin’ the shit! #DrinkInHand

Maybe a little belated, but better late than never, right? So a couple of weeks ago I stalked Brad Goreski all the way to Brooks Brothers Michigan Ave. I shamelessly paid for his new book, Born To Be Brad, and waited in line to have him sign my copy. #Swoon Dragging my brother and his girlfriend along with me, I needed the moral support while trying not to faint at the shear sight of the love of my life. The best part of this whole story was that later that night, I actually saw Brad at my favorite Boystown bar, Scarlet! I ran up to him (like we were best friends) and gave him a big hug! He introduced me to his friends, and we all proceeded to dance like whores. Yup, that’s my life. #WhatIsMyLife
